The owner of this shop on Nicollet Ave serves the best pizza in town. The crusts are hand spun. If you like a milder pizza or you're bigger on the cheese than on the sauce, A Slice of New York is for you. All of the pizza is homemade with fresh dough on a daily basis, and pies range from 10 to 20 dollars.
Delivery is available to South Minneapolis and all of Downtown Minneapolis. Delivery is available until 3 AM.
New York-style pizza at its best. The pizzeria also offers Stromboli and Calzone as well as a variety of pasta specials. The Calzone here are mind blowing. A Slice of New York can accommodate parties up to twenty patrons in size, and will deliver as well. If you're in the mood for great pizza, check this joint out.

A place that gets it right!! As a native NYer from the Bronx, this place takes me back to the pizza I grew up with. The crust and sauce are what matter most and these guys nail it, even my mutha likes it! The sauce has just enough garlic but not overly-acidic and the crust isn't that doughy mess that's usually found in other pizzas around the area. The owner and the guys behind the counter are great, if you get to know them they'll try the 'experimental' new stuff on you. If you're from NY(and there seems to be a bunch of us) check this place out!

it is one of the best pizzas i have had in the twin cities good food all the way around .I like that there open til 3am and deliver as far as delivery if it takes an hr so what,, what pizza place doesn't its worth the wait

really slow delivery, I mean 45 minutes means 1:30, pizza is ok, not great.

The tastiest, best proportioned pizza in south Minneapolis. Dough can be a bit fresh in the mornings, try post midnight for superbly crunchy slices. Simple cheese is amazing! Service for sit in is on the spot. If getting lasagna delivered expect 45+ min. wait, but it's well worth it.
