Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Basilica of St. Mary's magnificent stone and glass facade is a tribute to the religious beliefs upon which it was created. The Beaux Arts-styled Catholic church has undergone significant restorative measures, including a new copper dome and restorative work to its startlingly detailed stained glass windows. It is in the Loring Park neighborhood, just north of the park itself beside the Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
