Exploring the visual and performing arts, the Walker Art Center is a major regional venue for not only viewing but also participating in artistic pursuits. An ever-changing lineup of dance, theater and musical events grace the center's 385-seat auditorium while art exhibitions fill its gallery spaces. Classes, workshops and gallery talks are a more interactive way to experience the center, which abuts the Minnesota Sculpture Garden located just southwest of Loring Park.
