Instantly recognizable, Claes Oldenburg's Spoonbridge and Cherry stands as the centerpiece to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Over 50 feet long and almost 30 feet high, the monumental sculpture of a maraschino cherry held by a bent white spoon is also a fountain during the summer, with water pouring over the representation of the preserved fruit. Located within the outdoor sculpture garden, the sculpture is next to the Walker Art Center in the Lowry Hill neighborhood, just west of Loring Park.
Open daily 6:00 a.m. - midnight.
